HOUR5 provider connections, explained.
HOUR5 brings supported AI account observations into one overview. Support varies by provider, device and source. Successful sign in does not guarantee that a provider exposes every quota, and tracking does not automatically switch the account inside another app.
Current tested connections
| Provider | Current evidence | Important limit |
|---|---|---|
| Codex | Mac usage and direct iPhone sign in with fresh five hour and weekly quotas tested. | Only reported windows are shown. Running Codex desktop or terminal sessions are separate. |
| Gemini | Usage exercised on Mac; observations can sync to iPhone. | Independent iPhone connection is not represented here as verified. |
| Claude | Optional usage reports on Mac. | Direct Claude sign in is unavailable under the current connection rules. |
Choose a sign in method before opening the browser
Supported Mac connection flows offer browser choices, including a dedicated private sign in window or the default browser. A private window helps keep account cookies separate. Complete the provider’s sign in and return to HOUR5 to check the saved identity and usage. Cancel the flow if you chose the wrong account.
What does use in terminal do?
For supported Codex CLI setup, HOUR5 can prepare a saved account for new terminal sessions in the selected Codex configuration folder. This is an advanced developer workflow. It does not change an already running session or automatically switch Codex desktop. Regular users can monitor usage without using this feature.
Why is a quota unavailable?
A provider may not expose a measured value for that plan or source. A connection may also need a fresh sign in or update. HOUR5 distinguishes missing readings from exhausted allowance. Check the provider’s own account page if an observation looks inconsistent.
Independent tracking
HOUR5 is not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenAI, Google or Anthropic. Provider names identify the connected services. Provider terms and availability apply. Read how Codex windows work and how device sync works.
