Your AI usage overview across Mac and iPhone.

Optional HOUR5 sync links account identities and reported usage observations to your HOUR5 profile. Sign into the same HOUR5 account on both devices to view the same saved account list. Sync does not transfer your AI provider passwords or sign every device into those providers.

HOUR5 sign in and provider sign in are different

Your HOUR5 account identifies the profile that receives synced observations. A provider connection authorizes a particular device to read supported usage information. Signing into HOUR5 on iPhone can show a Mac connected account without giving the phone its provider credentials.

Set up both devices

  1. Sign into the same HOUR5 profile on Mac and iPhone.
  2. Enable optional sync and refresh the device with the provider connection.
  3. Check the observation time and source device on the receiving device.
  4. For independent refresh, choose Connect on this device and complete a supported provider connection there.

Check that you used the same HOUR5 profile, especially when an Apple private relay address differs from an email used through another sign in method. Matching display names do not prove two sign in methods identify the same profile.

Why does it say waiting for a provider update from my Mac?

The account is known, but a fresh measurement from its connected source is missing. Open the source Mac, check its connection and refresh. If you need independent iPhone updates, connect the provider on iPhone where supported. A synced account identity is not a live provider session.

Can I use iPhone without a Mac?

Direct Codex sign in and fresh quota reporting have been tested on iPhone. It does not require the Mac to stay open for that local connection. Other providers have different connection paths; check the provider guide. Apple controls background scheduling, so continuous updates while the app is closed are not guaranteed.

What if I work on Windows?

For a supported direct phone connection, you can check usage in HOUR5 on iPhone while working on Windows. HOUR5 does not currently offer a native Windows app, and it does not sign your Windows AI tools into an account.

What sync shares

Sync shares account identity labels and usage observations. Provider credentials stay on the originating device. Read the privacy notice for storage, retention and deletion details. Widgets use local snapshots and can be older than the app’s latest provider reading.
